La Route des Villages Paris-Cannes

The Paris-based 2CV company 4 roues sous 1 parapluie has joined forces with the association Les Plus Beaux Villages de France to organise the second edition of an exceptional 2CV rally set to take place from 12 – 19 May.

The aim of this fabulous rally is to join up twenty of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France between Paris to Cannes, exploring the best of French heritage, the gastronomy, and hospitality along the way.

Beginning in Paris on 12 May, a group of 15 to 20 convertible Citroëns will set off on a truly magical treasure hunt. Every day, drivers will receive a clue that will lead them to the next stopover village, following a secret trail that leads them through stunning rural scenery. After a week spent exploring France’s unknown corners, meeting friendly locals, tasting delicious regional cuisine and staying in charming hotels, the rally will finally arrive in Cannes, just in time for the town’s prestigious film festival. The final clue on the seventh day will allow teams to solve the rally’s riddle. The winners will be awarded their prize at a farewell prize-giving ceremony on the last night.
