Pound hits highest level against euro for three months

Sterling has today reached its highest level against the euro for three months. Despite uncertainty over the forthcoming election, a euro weakened by Greece’s economic crisis, combined with a healthy UK economic performance, has seen the exchange rate rise to 1.15 euros to the pound.
