Nice introduces bike-hire scheme throughout city

The rows of stands that have suddenly appeared all round the city of Nice will soon become home to blue bicycles available for hire.

The annual droit d’acc�s is a very reasonable €25; when you want to hire a bike, the first half hour is free; you pay €1 for the second half hour and €2 for each subsequent hour.
