French Radio London launches

London’s first French-language radio station to broadcast at The France Show

If you want to immerse yourself in Gallic culture and hone your French at the same time, French Radio London launched in London this week. It is the capital’s first French language terrestrial broadcast station and is aimed primarily at London’s 400,000 native French speakers as well as the huge Francophile community – 14 million Brits visit France every year, the largest group of foreign visitors to the country. The station broadcasts French music, talk programmes and interviews on a range of subjects, offering a great environment in which to learn about France and pick up the language.

French Radio London will be broadcasting live throughout The France Show at Earls Court on 14-16 January and introducing visitors to sensational live performances from recording artists Anouska Lucas and Sophie Delila. During its first two weeks on air, the station will be offering listeners the chance to secure complimentary tickets to the show. After that, they will then run a daily competition to win two tickets. For more details visit www.thefranceshow.com and www.frenchradiolondon.com
