100th anniversary of Bl�riot cross-Channel flight

Ferry passengers crossing the Strait of Dover on Saturday 25 July should have one of the best views of aeronautical celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of Louis Bl�riot’s cross-Channel flight.

Historic aircraft are due to display over the Channel throughout the day, including an authentic Bl�riot XI flying machine, 120 microlights, plus displays by the RAF Red Arrows and their French counterparts La Patrouille de France.
