Eleanor books anyone?

tizzylizzy 29/07/2007, 20:21
Has anyone got any books about Eleanor of Aquitaine they would like to sell/lend/swop?  I am interested to learn more about this lady. Either factual or novels. I am in the Royan area. Many Thanks.

Nothing to offer I'm afraid, but I can recommend
'Eleanor of Aquitaine' by Alison Weir if anyone has a copy.

I maybe stating the obvious, but there is a lot of information about Eleanor on Wikepedia on Google. She would appear to be a verypowerful lady!

Sorry, I dont have any books to recommend, but you may be able to find a copy of The Lion in Winter, with Peter O'Toole and Katherin Hepburn as Eleanor. I remember going to see this film at the cinema years ago....and fell asleep..... I would love to see it again...all the way thru this time
