Friends of ours are selling a simply beautiful chateau with lots of accommodation (perfect for an upmarket chambres d'hotes/hotel/country retreat), in the area you are looking in; it's set in superb grounds with woods & meadows plus formal gardens, large heated pool and tennis court. The property is in good structural order, but could do with some tlc in terms of interior painting. There are some good Chateau properties in the Bordeaux area on http://www.french-property.com although they might be a bit expensive, however I did see one for 775,000 Euros.
