Quillan, just a thought. The 'other forum' you refer to is in fact open to any member of the general public who might wish to register, apart from one chap who was banned. Why don't you join in and have some fun instead of larking (sic)?
Do not try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.

Maybe if you search for the bit that Q quoted you will find it. I haven't done that yet.

It seems the conspiracy theorists are at work here. OK, another small, intimate (and, dare I say, insignificant) forum operates less control over what is posted than this one, and other well-used places. That's probably because, unlike the big ones, its owner is not bound by commercial considerations. And, possibly in deference to over-sensitive souls, because some of the language can be a little robust at times, one has to register there in order to use it. Topics on other forums are sometimes referred to, and those other forums have affectionate nicknames. There's nothing sinister, no unpleasant rivalry, no bullying, no unpleasant mocking - unless I am missing something. Just honest opinions, and it's open to any opinion. You just don't have to get upset if somebody disagrees; discussions between users generally end up amicably.
All the forums are different, and appeal to different users. Nobody is saying any one is superior, it's a matter of personal taste.
Edit - just to set the record straight, I believe two people have been banned from there (both of whom have been banned from here too, one several times)
