Hi all 27's
Good to read all the posts from our area.
Returning to 27 in 3 days time and its been a long wait.
www.cdt-eure.fr
website in french/english.
I read somewhere that the external walls of Rouen Cathederal is having some kind of light show depicting Monet's art in the summer months. July seems to come to mind.

Morning Robin Thanks for the reply the glass blocks are used for decorative purposes or for shower cubicles which is what we would like to do, if you watch Big Strong Boys (we get it out here in Saudi) they have used them many times they are square blocks of thickened glass you can get either clear or coloured ones and apparently there are special fixings so they don't fall down can't be more specific as have only seen them on the telly from what we have seen the finished products look quite attractive. So any help would be much appreciated. Envy you your visit to France in a few days, ENJOY. Regards Sue Lieurey 27 (mainly KSA)

Hi Sue, Sorry, no idea on the glass blocks. Not sure that I have ever seen "big strong boys" on our TV. I can imagine what you are looking for, but I have not seen it. Lets hope someone else has an idea. Robin (27)

Hi all, We are a mile from Moyaux and were wondering where you are all hiding? We spent Christmas there and it was lovely with that snow on Christmas day. It was the first time I saw snow on Christmas day since I was a lad. I use the Champion in Cormeilles which I think is a sweet little town and I love the smell of the fumes from the Calvados distillery. What do they do in that Hipo service place? Chuck

Is it a car wash? Like the elephants.
No - I've looked it up in Pages Jaunes - it's 'Hippo' Service (SARL) - horseriding and associated equipment. I guess Hippo was a bit of a giveaway, but 'hipo' fooled me!

Good reply Dick, Must admit I have never noticed the place before, not being very interested in horses. I will take a look later this week when we visit. Pages Jaunes seems a useful source of information for this type of request. Cheers Robin Wolf
