Our New Kia (74 ltr tank) sedona does about 480 to the tank here and 550 to the tank in france,  I dont know why but it does If you can tell me why then please let me know Thanks Judith      Report

Are French gallons bigger than UK gallons?  I don't know what it is but whenever I fill up with fuel in France (usually at Leclerc), then I usually get about 3-4mpg more than using fuel from the UK. I'm glad it's not just me, though.    Report

I think a lot of the relative economy comes from having to travel further to get anywhere in France and when you do get there you tend not to have to queue as much or as often.
