Hi all
I now i'm sad but....
My little twingo is giving me 50 to the gallon and that is double what my last car gave me so I love it even more now![Big Smile [:D]](/cs/images/emotions/biggrin.gif)

Totally agree. I get about 50 mpg on average in mine (even more when I fill up in France). It's easy to park, theres plenty of room inside and it's reasonably reliable.
I wouldn't buy any other car at the moment, I love it! |

Why? Are French gallons bigger than UK gallons? ![Confused [8-)]](/cs/images/emotions/confused.gif)

hi all
Of course the french fuel is better than the uk fuel![Stick out tongue [:P]](/cs/images/emotions/tongue.gif)
We have always managed to get more for the gallon in france than the Uk our old renault espace (80 ltr tank)did 500 mile to the tank in england and 600 miles to the tank in France!!
Our New Kia (74 ltr tank) sedona does about 480 to the tank here and 550 to the tank in france, I dont know why but it does![Big Smile [:D]](/cs/images/emotions/biggrin.gif)
If you can tell me why then please let me know![Big Smile [:D]](/cs/images/emotions/biggrin.gif)
Thanks Judith

I don't know what it is but whenever I fill up with fuel in France (usually at Leclerc), then I usually get about 3-4mpg more than using fuel from the UK.
I'm glad it's not just me, though.

I think a lot of the relative economy comes from having to travel further to get anywhere in France and when you do get there you tend not to have to queue as much or as often.
