For me the slats (?) at the back are too small , too many and too uniform, I think I would have liked less slats but wider ones and more shapely , in keeping with the rest of the wood. But it's very nice and I would be proud to have it in my garden.Big Smile [:D]

Doesn't look very happy there against a wall. Needs to be in a beautiful garden. I'll help move it??

It was a she JJ...& she does all the odd jobs around the house...I wouldn't have sold it to her if I'd have known it was gonna look like a chocolate bench! Still, to each their own I guess?

Reckon you could move it Moggy? It'd take several WeedyFennys just to lift one end!Big Smile [:D]

That is very nice Chris.

What is the 'C' with the 'x' in it on the left-hand upright, your logo ?

it's a biggie & to part with it for mere money didn't seem right.

Hi Chris, the 'mere money' you mention would enable you to buy that elusive sanding machine you need ???

Thanks Gary, it's my signature...when the ladies ask me what the 'x' is I tell them it's a kiss, when the blokes ask...it doesn't signify anything!

Have you SEEN the price of some of those sanding machines sharkhunter? Must admit the time saved standing behind handheld machines would be significant, the small lathe Dad gave me is still destined for the task...just waiting for some kind soul to give me a few lessons!Wink [;-)]

The 'mere' comment has brought to the fore a subject I keep meaning to bring up for artisans here...philosophy of pricing is the subject. Gluestick is the main instigator of the thought processes. I'll try later.
