I'm also not terribly surprised that you have been unimpressed with local agents. You sound confident that you know the value of this business (and additional "owners home").  If I were you, I would apply myself to selling it with direct advertising: appropriate trade journals, magazines, websites, your own search engine optimized website etc and not worry about finding a great agent. By all means go with the local agent, one from the nearest large town with a pretty window and good foot-traffic, one who has a good website (alexa rank or google pagerank), one who is part of a national chain and perhaps one who convinces you they have "an international reach". Tthis was my house selling tactic.  However the chances are you will sell it directly yourself.  I did - like nearly every one of my friends who sold their house recently.  Campsites being even more specialized mean its even more likely you will know far more about it than agents. Treat your business exit strategy just the same as running your business - it's all part of the same process: work. Get your teeth into that and treat any lead or viewing found by your panel of agents as a bonus. Good luck Holiday and Property Guide for Nice and the Cote d'Azur    Report
