25/01/2008, 9:22 Pierre ZFP Joined on 12/11/2004 PdC(62)/Luxembourg Posts 1,938 Re: Mobility scooter hire Hi, sorry but I can't give info about Brittany but I know such things as these scooters must be available as in my neck of the woods they are quite popular.  A long way from Brittany but at Berck-sur-Mer there are many hospitals for the seriously ill and recovering and many people can be see taking the sea air on the promanade, some in wheelchairs but more and more in electric scooters.  Maybe there is a Rehab clinic near where you are staying that could assist? Remember, apples and blackberrys do NOT count towards your 5-a-day    Report

My mother was 85 when we purchased an electric scooter off said auction site. It was in New condition and was only being sold because the owner had put on weight and needed a bigger one. It came with full instructions, new batteries and has given my Mum a new lease of life. Maybe the OP could take that route. My Mums scooter cost £260 and was virtually new. Priceless for home and holidays. cartref    Report
