Many thanks, everyone!

Yikes, which way round is an issue that didn't cross my mind - it seemed to me the only way round that it clipped in to the holder was with the bar-code-type stuff facing inwards...

Hey ho, with all your advice I am sure it will be fine.

Unless SANEF is different to SAPPR the bar code faces out through the screen

Eek! It didn't seem to attach that way round. Any SANEF users out there who can tell me?

The holder and doofer should only fit one way around, regardless of supplier.

Best position the holder up behind the rear view mirror - just make sure you can get the doofer in and out in case you have to take it out for some reason.

...and if its any additional help thats the flat side onto the windscreen.  Also if any help to anyone else, after having a new windscreen fitted, blue tac works very well as a non permanent replacement adhesive for the holder

regards
George

Or if you want to transfer your doofer to a hire car or a friend's car use it to tack the doofer itself.

And in next week's Blue Peter ...

Who would ever have thought that a thread about a small white plastic box, which speeds your passage through a motorway toll, would have generated 4k+ 'hits', 120+ posts and lasted months?

Are we sad, or not?

Or (and I don't like to boast) you have a spanking new car like me!!!!

Thanks for the blue tac tip - often wondered if I called into one of their bureaus on the autoroutes if they'd give me a new sticky thing?
