Hi

I have been away from this site for sometime!!!!

Returning - and finding good items still to enjoy - Anyone out there aware of the pig problem in the vicinity of Locarn? Would like to know the progress that is being made by the opposers to the idea of using land in this area to to distribute the pig waste onto arable land ?

Have heard there could be a problem there but that is all - sorry!  Apparently it's causing quite a 'stink'  !!!!!

It all has to stop soon anyway I seem to remember and the cra p has to be processed before being used. By and large the plants being installed to treat pig waste are not intrusive though the trucks bearing the stuff might be.
