Verteuil sur Charente ( 10 mins south of Ruffec - department 16) will be holding its annual night market by the side of the Charente this Thursday evening from 6pm till 12.30am.
There will be lots of stalls, local produce,wine & cognac producers, arts & crafts, beer tent, food available on site & the evening finishes with a big firework display at midnight.
Usually a great night
This makes me so homesick. We live in Verteuil but only during the winter. We have a business in Ibiza that keeps us here for the whole summer so we have never seen Verteuil during the summer months. Hope that it goes well, if you have time pop into the Portebleue and say a big hello to Nat for us.
