Hi having found the English speaking phone number for EDF and got through! I then managed to find out i'm in credit to the tune of 300.Euros.
I have now decided to find out if anyone knows of a similar phone number for my water company which is Lyonaise Des Eaux.

If this is the one then they have a web-site and you should be able to contact them - but not necessarily in English; worth a try though.
