Does anyone have infomation on Pornic? Restaurants, walks, campsites? Fancy a few days away and it is not too far from here!Cool [8-|]

I cannot remember the name of it, but there's a huge PMU bar/brasserie on the seafront which does the most wonderful moules in all sorts of different sauces.  Yum.Stick out tongue [:P]

Lots of rocks round the coastline at Pornic  so if you want a good place to swim from ....follow the coast road through the built up area to the south side of the harbour entrance..sticking as close to the sea as possible  . There  is a little sandy cove sheltered from the wind  with a bar restaurant at the top of the zig zag that leads down to the beach...its a very nice spot  tucked in under the cliffs   (I think its before you get to La Bernerie en Retz .) a real sun trap ... Lots of camping sites just out of town on the main road to Nantes . Lots of eating places in town over looking the harbour .
