Has anybody else met the wonderful and slightly eccentric owner of the chateau at Montresor? What an absolute delight he is and so trusting to have allowed my wife and I to wander freely through the building at a time outside normal public opening hours. And whilst he admitted that Sir Mick Jagger was a friend and not too distant a neighbour, we could not prise from him the whereabouts of Sir Mick's chateau...

"La Fourchette" was once owned by the Duc de Choiseul, minister for foreign affairs for Louis XV.
