Goodbye 3916 ?
Reply Quote
I see that the last item on the last page of the tax declaration form (2042K), which used to refer to the famous form 3916 on foreign bank accounts, now refers to form 3116.  (You still have the option of using plain paper.)

I think there's general agreement that 3916 wasn't a very important form anyway, but does anyone know what the change signifies?  I didn't get a copy of the new form, if there is one.

Could it be just a misprint?

I'm still not clear, having read previous posts on the forum whether it is necessary to fill in a 3926/3116 if you are not (fiscally) resident in France, I am just declaring a small amount of income from gite rental. Any advice, thanks.
