You then have a contour map on which spot heights are marked. PS: Also gives you Northings and Eastings or SatNav coordinates   My doctor said one drink per day, I can live with that !    Report

Officially, as many aviators will know, the pressure is deemed to be 1013.2 millibars at sea level except when landing and taking off for obvious reasons. This is the 'magic number' that is used during flight for measuring height. I was wondering if there was a specific reason the OP was asking. If it's because of flooding and building permission for instance there are other things that come in to play which is why you need a 'cut through' survey of the land to present to the DDE.
