A bit close to home
I knew things could get a bit "tense" at times in the "ethnically diverse" areas of Nelson / Burnley / Colne etc but its a bit sobering when it happens to your own brother in law.

Blimey, P/D, hope he's OK. The place has changed a bit since I was a lass.

Re: A bit close to home
Smoke inhalation and a cut arm. Kept in hospital for possibly a few days. Things certainly have changed, We left the area 40 yrs ago when we married. My wife is upset because it was the family home that she was brought up in and had various things of sentimental value, all now gone, still, BIL is OK and thats what really matters in the end.
