Replacement Drawer Boxes

Friends have an expensive looking kitchen with draw fronts and nothing behind them. In the UK it would be easy to source drawers to fit behind them - any body any ideas in France ?

Have you looked at Axminster? I think they deliver to France. Certainly they have drawer runners, the actual wooden bits aren't too complex.

If you have a Tridome near you they do the kits for yer draws! If not, if you have a router it's not difficult to make your own.

You don't say where your friends or you are. France is a biggish country?

Edit:- Beat me to it Dick Big Smile [:D]. Axminster do deliver to France. Not sure what they do in that line, but have a look at www.axminster.co.uk they could well help you?

Thanks for the posts Tridome are concentrated in the south. I have a router broadly North of Gironde which is in my profile. Would simply prefer to drive up have a look at the kits and buy them

Bloomin perfectionist!Blink [blink]

I find it difficult to push a plane now Dick. I have arthritis in both my wrists. Pulling no problem, but pushing hurts, so a router does the pushing for me...

A mitre box? Is that where a bishop keeps 'is 'at or is it more like the one you keep yer cricket equipment in???Confused [8-)]

Anton: I'm coming over on 23rd May. I could pick some drawer sides and runners from Screwfix, (see their website), leaving you with only some ply/mdf to source for the bases. CARE: the drawer sides are in TWO sizes. I can vouch for their ease of fitment.

You could either collect, or I could parcel them once in France if you want to pay postage?

I can even do PaypalBig Smile [:D]

Thanks for the very kind offer.

I have now sourced four sets of sides and runners from a perfectly good kitchen which was being dumped and as I have a bench saw the the rest is just measuring and cutting.
