They are only just out and about to any extent, not been enough sun for them and they are still a bit slow. Breeding should start in the next couple of weeks, so keep your eyes open for that. Also the snakes eye is opaque/milky in colour, is this likely to be the outside of his eyelid or could he be blind? We have obsevred him at many different times and when he moves of but it never changes?    Report

Snakes shed their skins starting at the head and finishing with the tail as the entire skin turns inside out. Thanks for the info and I also assume that you realise it's a western whip snake.
