13/05/2008, 18:20 Cathy Joined on 07/03/2006 Mostly near Bordeaux; Sometimes near Bristol Posts 1,857 Children's book about cathedrals One of my children is fascinated by large churches.  The UK are issuing stamps of famous cathedrals and I'm getting her a set for a present.  With this, I want to give her a book on UK cathedrals in order to inspire her to visit them.  On Amazon, most of the featured books do not give you what the pages look like inside.  I have to buy online as I live in France. Does anyone know of a book on UK cathedrals, which is easy-to-read and with lots of photographs? (I've checked with Dorling Kindersley and they don't do one.) As for the others, it's such a shame that no one has reviewed them nor are there any sample pages to see.  They both look interesting.  Neither are very expensive so if no one else suggests anything, I might order both.     Cathy ----- Your children won't remember you ironing their pyjamas but they will remember you reading them a bedside story.    Report
