Hessian Sacks for Sack Racing

Hi,

I don't know whether this should be under sport! Does anyone know where I might be able to get some hessian sacks? We would like to have some sack races at our daughters birthday party, but can't seem to find them anywhere. It's not important that they be hessian, it's just that was the type traditionally used.

In England the pet shops will often sell off unwanted hessian bags for about 50p each, I am not sure whether they do this in France but perhaps you could ask.

In our village here in france they use the heavy duty paper sacks from the boulangers.  They work perfectly well, ask your local boulanger.

Gamm Vert - 3-5€ per sack depending on quality  and size

Thanks for the replies. I'll try Gamm Vert first, then the Boulongerie. I have seen them for sale in the UK, but they can be a bit expensive to get posted here.
