Tax d,habitation.

I have completed my online  revenue tax.I Have been told that as we are now both over retirement age of 65 we will no longer have to pay this tax-hopefully! Can anyone point me in the right direction for up to date info and will ,if this is true, be stopped automatically by the tresorie from my monthly outgoings.Many thanks, Maude

Hold on a moment! I read the link, and it refers to an income ceiling that you have to be below to avoid Taxe d'Habitation. For a couple this is 14,666 euros.
You're not out of the woods yet!

As per Mikep - and the exemption is calculated and applied automatically from the information you provided on your tax declaration.
