A grave matter...

Mods - not sure if this piccie is acceptable on here, please remove this thread if it offends.

Having just had a wonderful weekend in Paris, I felt I had to report back and tell whoever suggested it, that the visit to a Paris cemetery was really interesting - if a little weird.

I have assumed from what I read and was told, that the couple buried here posed for their masterpiece of a gravestone to ensure relatives were always able to visit them after their departures...

I liked that pic, in my opinion it is not offending at all , and quite cute.. A couple in their bed for eternity.

I believe in miracles ..........

I feel similar Frenchie, I was just concerned that some folk on here might think I was being disrespectful when, in fact, it is as you describe. I would imagine that any relatives visiting the grave would smile whenever they go there.

I bet it cost a fortune to make though!

I liked it too, makes it seem more believable that those people were once alive just like we are now.Much better than a boring cross or ugly angel statue which I hate even more after Dr.Who.

He is, of course, doing what he's done all his married life: getting up first to take her breakfast in bed.

It's a bit unhygienic to go to bed in their day clothes, don't you think ?
