I'm considering installing a Swim spa, I recently saw one at an agents in UK canadianspacompany and I wonder if anyone has any knowledge or experience of them? do they attract any special conditions for security or taxation such as swimming pools do?   the real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, and blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday    Report

For above ground pools, swim spas and spas you do not need to consider additional taxes or security.   If you put steps up to a swim spa though, you would need to think about that.   Either make them removable or have some way of blocking access. We have been supplying spas and swim spas, hot tubs and saunas in France now for 4 years. Be aware though that if they go below ground you may need to complete a déclaration préable – depends on your local Mairie.    They will comply with safety rules though as they have an insulated lockable cover with them.
