29/02/2008, 17:42 Beemer1150 Joined on 01/07/2007 Near St Jean d'Angely - 17 Posts 83 The Charente OK, so there's enough work on the new gite and the new house to keep me busy for this year - but, just to keep my dreams alive, can anyone point me to information on keeping and using a small boat on the Charente... ? Googling produces plenty of hire boats, but what about regs/rules/moorings? Nearest point would be around St Savinien... and, as a stick-and-string man for more than half a century, has anyone ever sailed on the Charente?    Report

Normally I use the slip at Sireuil, brand new and easy to launch, Sireuil is near Chateauneuf which is a good point to cruise from.                          Anymore I can help?                            Regards..........Ray    Report
