28/04/2008, 14:56 Adr Joined on 23/08/2004 Posts 6 Stansted - Flight connection Can anyone tell me whether there is a way of getting directly from arrivals to the departure area in Stansted. As I will have already printed off my boarding pass it seems like a waste of time to go all the way out of departures and then queue to go back in through security. Many thanks. Adr      Report

28/04/2008, 15:28 Pierre ZFP Joined on 12/11/2004 PdC(62)/Luxembourg Posts 1,663 Re: Stansted - Flight connection Nope, unfortunately not possible.  As soon as the wheels have touched the ground you are deemed to have entered the UK and since that isn't part of the Schengen agreement, you have to pass through Immigration and hence out of the arrivals area then back into Departures even if you are coming/going from/to an EU country, sorry.
