Hi Chris
Nice talking to you earlier. Here's the flower I was talking about that grows in our woodland. I've also spotted the white version of it in a friends garden which is nowhere near woodland. I'll try and get a picture with leaves next time.

The white flower I don't know the name of:

Daisy close up:

........ and the black redstart, taken a couple of years ago with the old camera:

The blue one looks like common dog violet? If it is, then the white ones you are seeing in your friends garden are probably either Sweet violet or Hairy violet.
Does the white flower in the next photo grow as a single stalked flower or multiple flowers on a stem?
I like the new camera.![Big Smile [:D]](/cs/images/emotions/biggrin.gif)

Hi Chris
Sorry I've not been back to you, got a bit inundated with other stuff. On the white flower, the flowers come off a single stalk into a clump.

The first one is Veronica Chamaedrys, Germander Speedwell, (Veronique petit chêne).
The second one is Scilla verna, Spring squill, (Scille printanière).
That will be 10€ please.

Hi Chris
Thanks for the identifications. 10€ !!!! Think I'll fill out a membership form.
The girls from our Stitch & B***h group are also organising walks. First one is on 25th May, but I expect I will be the one holding the group up while I take photos.
