I have noticed Begonias and other bedding plants in shops now but is it still too early to put into tubs and pots outside ?

Depends where you are.  We had a frost last night (fab today though) so I wouldn't around here.

Yes ! That is what I was worried about. I live Deux Sevres and we had a frost a few days ago but it has been OK for about a week now. Maybe I will but some and keep them inside for a while. I was OK with all this in UK but here I am never sure if planting is earlier as  marginally warmer climate.  Leaderprice have some good offers on some bedding plants  10 for  2euros..99c.
