Tried in vain this week to get a plasterer to carry out what i think is a big job, 9 rooms, and 4 ceilings need skimming.  Two not interested and one booked up until Novemeber.  Anyone recommend someone please, we are 5km South of Vire.

That sounds like a pretty normal length of time to wait if you ask me.  We've always had to wait at least six months to get any work done by a reputable artisan.  If they can do it next week you have to ask yourself.....  why?
