As easyjet are flying Nantes to Geneva this summer, we have booked a quick break for hubby and I, first alone in 20 years!! Any recommendations for reasonably priced hotls in the centre, places to visit and good restaurant overlooking the lake for my BIG birthday!!

Can't remember where we stayed (I found it on the net - but it was in 2003) but a couple of tips. The trams are good and there is a combined ticket that includes the yellow water taxis. We found restaurants to be very expensive. There is a boat trip up Lake Geneva/Lac Leman, which calls at Yvoire, Link Here in France - the restaurant there was very popular with the trippers (we had taken a picnic!).
I stayed at the Hilton lake Geneva once. Very very nice but no idea how much - BA paid
Geneva is a beautiful place - expensive but hey push the boat out!
