01/02/2008, 8:41 newbiee Joined on 29/12/2007 Posts 111 Paris - hotel recommendations please I'm looking for a small, friendly, comfortable hotel in Paris for a mini-break.  About 40 rooms or less.  I'll be on a budget so just want something clean and comfy and reasonably priced. If you have stayed in a nice hotel like this and would recommend it I'd love to hear about it. Thanks     Report

03/02/2008, 11:45 Rose Joined on 06/02/2007 Dordogne (24) Posts 647 Re: Paris - hotel recommendations please Hi... we stayed in Paris just before Christmas and stayed here http://www.elysees-union.com/ the public areas were very nice and prices did include a pleasant breakfast... staff were very very helpful and our room was OK... perhaps a little tired but clean, warm and comfortable.  the best thing was the location... We were also restricted as we needed a room for three. We spent ages looking for a hotel in the right location but in the end we spent so much time walking and using the underground that the location wasn't that important anyway Good luck with your trip!    Report
