Not really but I am interested in your houses. Did you all do the "before" and "after" photos and if so I'm sure lots of us would love to see the results. especially the horror pics like mine.

My OH has promised me faithfully that this will become our bedroom. He just can't tell me when, so not sure when you will see the "after" photo.

So come on and let's see where you have worked your magic.

Geordie girl - call that a horror pic? We bought an old stone built stable with no windows and a beaten earth floor and I did almost all the work myself. Took years, in fact there are bits and pieces still not finished. I'll have to dig out old pics and scan them, but i've got loads of work at the moment. I'll try and get back later. Smile [:)]

Looks as if he's nearly there already! I don't know how to scan photos but we have a similar tale to tell, only worse to start with. I must give all credit to Eddie , I didn't do much except for cleaning up. He did have help with the ceiling though from friends.

I think this kind of thread was run not so long ago Geordie Girl and perhaps that is why you have had a poor response. There is a herd of people who use this forum who will talk about their projects until the cows come home. The previous thread was very popular.

Thanks all, I will try to find the old thread as i really am keen to see the before and afters.That wasn't my worst photo, lots of the stuff is on video but i can't get that onto here. I will say that now the kitchens going in as we speak, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel which was at one point hiding in a dark remote place that was too far away to comprehend.
