Chateau de Balleroy is another must see in my opinion. Close to Bayeux, Chateau du Balleroy is the worlds first museum dedicated entirely to hot air ballooning. I visited a few years back after much persuasion from my Father and was pleasantly surprised at what a remarkable place it was. Some of the artwork, particularly on the ceilings was utterly breathtaking, at one point I was so totally mesmorised by the ceilings I found myself walking backwards!
If you go, see if you can spot the Faberge egg!
