A friend of mine is about an hour from St Malo... maybe a bit more. She is a voracious reader and I know never has enough books so I'll point her in the direction of your posting above.

All gone,eventually had 4 crates.Perhaps I read too quickly!Just finished !The end of the pier show" The Author obviously watched Hi-de Hi. A good read was "The Shadow of the Wind". Only got 1 English book left to read.Oh dear!!I might add I don't read anything to clever or brain stretching,tried several times with Tinker Tailor and the likes but they are on a different planet to me.
